Facilities
Our microfluidics/soft matter lab is located in Room 321/323 in AERB. This lab covers both materials characterizations (KSV Tensiometer, AR2000 stress-controlled rheometer, Rame contact angle goniometer), flow characterizations, microfluidics (Inverted Leica microscope, Photron high speed camera, pumps, etc) and microdevice fabrication station (soft-lithography based setup).
Our macroscopic fluid/granular flow lab is located in Engineering Annex. The lab is currently being renovated.
Equipment:

Regular, brightfield Leica DM IRB inverted microscope with online frame grabbing and particle tracking software.

KSV tensiometer.

AR2000 stress-controlled rheometer by TA instrument
We have the capacity to perform rheological testing of given samples. Samples we have tested include biofluids, polymers, organic samples from local companies and labs at local Universities.
